Participation Guidelines

Kindly review the following guidelines for IYEA 2025 awardees in detail.
Should you have any inquiries, please do not hesitate to contact the Secretariat.

Flight Ticket and Accommodation

  • All trainees should reserve and pay their round-trip flights and accommodation during the training period by themselves.
  • The person in charge of the training center (trainer) can help you to find accommodation near or in the training center if you ask them.
    The center list can be referred to our website.
  • Please ensure that your itinerary (flight invoice) and accommodation details are shared with both the trainer and the secretariat.
    Once these are finalized, kindly submit the flight ticket invoice and your accommodation information to the trainer and secretariat no later than April 30, 2025.

Visa

All foreign visitors wishing to enter the Republic of Korea must possess a valid passport. In some cases, a visa for Korea may be required prior to departure.
We highly recommend contacting the Korean embassy in your home country directly to confirm the necessary documents for a safe and smooth journey. (https://www.idenworld.org/event/266/?pmode=visa)

Should you require any documents to obtain a visa for travel to Korea (such as an official invitation letter, business registration certificate, etc.), please do not hesitate to inform us.

Clinical training at each training center

The official training period is scheduled from June 2 - June 10, 2025. However, please note that this may be subject to slight adjustments based on the circumstances at the training center. We kindly ask that you discuss the specific details of the training schedule directly with the trainer. Should you encounter any difficulties in contacting the trainer or require further assistance, the secretariat will be happy to support you.

Hands-on Courses

(Deadline: April 5)
  • Date & Time: June 11 (Wed), Half-day afternoon
  • Venue: K-TEC, Songdo

    • For IYEA trainees, three types of hands-on courses, including ESD, EUS, and Endoscopy Instrument & Stent, will be held at K-TEC in Songdo.
    Should you wish to attend any of these hands-on courses, we kindly ask that you contact the IYEA 2025 Secretariat at iyea@iden.or.kr no later than April 05, 2025.

Young Endoscopist Forum

  • Date & Time: June 12 (Thu) (The detailed schedule will be announced at a later date.)
  • Venue:Grand Walkerhill Seoul 
  • All trainees are kindly requested to submit an abstract and participate in the Young Endoscopist Forum.
  • For details regarding the abstract submission, please refer to the information provided below.
  • The program details will be made available on the website once the final schedule is confirmed.

IDEN 2025

  • Date & Time: June 12 (Thu) ~ June 14 (Sat)
  • Venue: Grand Walkerhill Seoul
  • IDEN 2025 will officially begin on June 12, 2025, at the same venue as the Young Endoscopist Forum.
  • Your abstract will be presented in poster format at both IDEN 2025 and the Young Endoscopist Forum.

Registration for IDEN 2025

  • All trainees are kindly encouraged to sign up for IDEN membership. Currently, IDEN membership is offered free of charge.
    Please visit the IDEN 2025 website (https://iden.website.or.kr/event/266/?pmode=joinguide) to complete your membership registration.
  • Once you have completed the sign-up process, we kindly ask that you proceed with the pre-registration fee payment for IDEN 2025 through our website.
    Please note that the deadline for pre-registration is May 28, 2025.
  • The registration fee will be refunded along with the award money during IDEN 2025 onsite.

Abstract Submission

  • Abstracts should be submitted through the IDEN 2025 website by April 30, 2025.
    Kindly refer to the abstract submission guidelines available at the following link: https://iden.website.or.kr/event/266/?pmode=abstract_submission.
  • After review by the committee, selected abstracts will be presented at both the Young Endoscopist Forum and IDEN 2025.
    - For the Young Endoscopist Forum, the presentation format will be determined and announced, either as an oral presentation or a poster.
    - At IDEN 2025, all accepted abstracts will be presented in poster format.
